Hey everyone! Just a heads up that Desmond and I will be appearing at Kids Read Comics! This is a free event held at the Dearborn Centennial Library on June 12 and 13. Several really cool artists will be there including Chris Houghton, Corey Barba, Mike Roll, Ryan Estrada, Matt Feazell… just to name a few.

What makes this event different from a regular “comic con” is the fact that many of the artists will be participating in workshops and reviews to help inspire kids to get involved in reading and creating comics. It should be a fun time, and I am really excited to make a lot of new friends.

Speaking of workshops… I will be doing a perspective workshop on Saturday at 4 PM and Sunday at Noon, plus I will be breaking hard truths to youngins in portfolio reviews at 1:00 on both days. You can see a complete list of guests and workshops at kidsreadcomics.org
