Sleep is one of the greatest things ever. Some people think it is overrated. It most definitely is not!!
This comic gives you a little slice of my traveling lifestyle. Early morning flights cause you to constantly wake up and check the time. It is quite hard to get a solid night’s rest when you are worried about missing a flight!
A few influences in creating this week’s strip: I was inspired by a definite lack of sleep I have experienced over the last few weeks. It was also inspired by a very cool sequence of pages drawn up on Wyliman by Mario Gonzalez. The comment about the dining room table was inspired by my wife and one of her most infamous dreams. There are a few other “inspirations” found throughout this cartoon, which has quickly become one of my favorites.
May your holiday season bring you at least one day of solid, uninterrupted rest! Good night everyone!
The REAL Houghton Hotel is just a floor with very dirty carpet. But anyone’s more than welcome to stay!
Unless of course you’re referring to some place in Houghton, MI, and not the collectively nasty floors of the Houghton brothers. Then who knows where that is.
HA HA! An “inspiration” found! However, I’ll keep in mind to bring few wet naps when I check into the real Houghton Hotel.
