This weeks strip was inspired by the beautiful sunset I see every time I go to Frankfort, Michigan (Desmond’s home). I know it is not the same as being on the Pacific Ocean in Cali, but Lake Michigan is nothing to sneeze at either! I was inspired enough to go full color. I hope you enjoy.
I also think I have finally got my ball-point pen to work the way I want it. Hopefully this works out!
Is that Kanji in the sky (with diamonds)? Or have I overdosed on coffee at work again?
ha ha! No Kanji. I was just playing around with some brushes trying to get a little texture on the sky. It does look a little like Asian writing though. And I’ll try some of that coffee you’re overdosing on!

Thanks Teblos! Its always a pleasure to hear from a fellow Michigander! And I’d rather say that I was “inspired” to use the word jerk store as opposed to stealing it. I think it is a slang that more people should adopt as common vocabulary.
