First, I gotta give it up to Jerry for hooking Desmond up with the waffle iron (Jerry's like a wife without the benefits). Secondly, I love the dude's face in the bottom right corner of the second frame. Those subtleties are my favorite part of these comics. And last but not least, waffles are delicious.
