I just got back from a wonderful summer vacation with the family. We spent a very fun week up in Frankfort, Michigan (which just so happens to be Desmond and Jerry current home town).  Our condo was just off the beach on Lake Michigan which offered us a spectacular view.

It was a great week of slowing down and enjoying life’s simple pleasure. I didn’t even mind coming home with a sandy sketchbook.

My wife and I did not want to leave our little paradise at the end of the week, and it is hard to come back to the hustle of real life. Oh well.

We’ll be making a trip back to Frankfort soon. Hopefully after SPX, I find some time for my Candy Wife and I to take another trot upstate to enjoy some fall colors.  For now, its time to get cracking on Desmond! I need to finish the book and some other goodies before SPX comes rolling around!  I’ll keep you posted on everything that is happening! Thanks for stopping by!
